The Swadeshi
Mission Guaganya Program, which took Indian astronauts into space, was
announced by the Prime Minister during his Independence Day speech.
Chairman of Indian Space Research Organization Sivan said on Thursday, India has to launch its first mission to study Suraj Aditya-L1.
The aim of the mission is to keep
a permanent look at the sun without any disturbance.
Aditya-L1 is to inspect
solar corona, "Siwan told the media in a press briefing in New Delhi, he
said that there are still a lot of things to be learned about the Sun.
According to Shivan :- The Aditya-L1 mission is expected to be inserted into Halo orbit around Lagrangian Point 1 (L1) - which is 1.5 million km away from the Earth - so that the sun has a big advantage of continuous viewing without eclipse or eclipse ,
India launched its second moon mission, Chandrayaan-2, from Sriharikota Spaceport in Andhra Pradesh on 15th July and released its rover on the moon surface on 6th September.
Sivan also said that India
will have its own space station. This project will expand the Gaganayan
Mission.
Sivan told reporters, "After the launch of the Human Space
Mission, we have to maintain the Gaganasana program. In this context, India
plans to build its own space station.
